2. Operating Procedures

2.1.1. Creating a New Startup Disk

If you do not have a prepared bootable floppy, get a blank floppy disk and insert it in the floppy drive.

For a simple solution, get a utility from our Web site http://www.disk-image.net. Download and run the utility named Bootable Floppy Disk Creator for Active@ Disk Image.

If you do not wish to download this utility, you may prepare a floppy disk manually from MS-DOS or Windows environments as below:

Creating a Startup Floppy Disk

Copy Active@ Disk Image (DISK_IMG.EXE) to the bootable floppy disk.
